Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 August 2026
Tranformx Global Business Academy (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/356985/07), trading as TranformX Global Business Academy ("TranformX", "we", "us", "our"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 ("POPIA").
1. Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount collected automatically.
- Enquiry and proposal requests — name, email, organisation, role, and the details you provide when you submit the "Request a Proposal" form.
- Payments — name, email, and the amount you enter on the Make a Payment page. Card and bank details are captured directly by Paystack's secure checkout — we never see or store your card number, CVV, or full bank account details.
- Communications — anything you send us by email or phone when arranging a programme or corporate engagement.
- Technical data — standard web log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and performance purposes.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries and prepare programme or corporate proposals.
- To process and verify payments, and to send receipts and confirmations.
- To deliver the programme or service you've paid for, including scheduling and joining instructions.
- To maintain financial and legal records as required by South African law.
- To improve this website and our services.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary to run our business:
- Paystack (payment processing) — handles and secures all card and bank transaction data on our behalf.
- Netlify (website hosting and form submissions) — stores and forwards enquiry form submissions to us.
- Facilitators, partners, or subcontractors directly involved in delivering a programme you've enrolled in or an engagement you've contracted for.
- Regulators or authorities, where required by law.
Some of these providers process data on servers outside South Africa. Where that happens, we rely on their own security and data protection commitments to keep your information safe.
4. How long we keep it
We retain enquiry and payment records for as long as needed to deliver the service, resolve any dispute, and meet our tax and financial record-keeping obligations under South African law (generally five years from the end of the relevant financial year). We delete or anonymise personal information once it's no longer needed for these purposes.
5. Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
- Ask us to correct or update inaccurate information.
- Ask us to delete information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep.
- Object to our use of your information for a specific purpose.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za) if you believe we've mishandled your information.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
6. Cookies
This site uses only the cookies necessary for it to function (for example, keeping the mobile navigation menu working) and, where enabled, basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
7. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for working professionals and organisations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and a PCI-compliant payment processor — to protect the information we hold. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
